The thirteen cranes of crystal

Since 1890, cranes of crystal have been found. The enigma is that some cranes are authentic and come from the Maya period so they are too old. Indeed, for cutting this crystal we have to use modern machines which were created by man for this century.

Here is the story and cranes message according to descendants of Amerindian peoples:
At the beginning there were twelve worlds where human life existed. The earth was named “the children planet”. The other worlds (so 11 planets) joined their knowledge in a sort of computer: the cranes of crystal.
Those wise men brought the cranes on the earth and gave knowledge to human populations. They helped humans to build four big civilizations: Lemury, Mu, Mieyhun and the Atlantide.
The cranes were conserved in a pyramid named “the arc” (l’arche). Some civilizations have been guards of the arc: the Olmec, Maya and Aztec.
After the Spanish conquest the cranes have been scattered by Aztec priests. Cranes had to stay separated because together, their power was too big to be used by unwise humans.
Nowadays, for Amerindian descendants, if we, humans keep on acting unconsciously, we won’t be able to save the earth the 21 of December 2012. At this date, if the thirteen cranes aren’t together aligned, Gaia (who symbolizes the earth) won’t be save and will fall in the nothingness.

Must we reject that story which is very important in Indian life? Are those cranes really authentic?
Nevertheless we can ourselves find an interest, a morality about our behaviour. For example, if in his unconsciousness and his greediness, Man don’t see quickly that the earth, his unique shelter, cannot continue being plundered without consequences, we’ll get important problems.

Colombian Vampires

In South America exists the most known of all mammals, the « vampire bat ». That creature created a lot of myths. Let’s see the case of the Aztecs and of the Mayan.

The Aztecs vampires are the « Civatateos ». They are servants of lunar Gods according to the mythology and they are almost gods. A Civatateo is created when a woman and her child die during the childbirth. They eat people during the night. They prefer children as victims and they leave them died or paralyzed. We can prevent that : people put food on graves. As a consequence, if Civatateos stay so long, they are destroy by rays of sunshine.
Physical appearance : they are very ugly and they wear dress decorated by crosses and bones.

The Mayan vampire are in their mythology. « Camatzotz » means « bat of the death » : it’s the name of servant of the death and the master of the night. We often can see it on jars and sculptures from Mexico to Copan(Honduras).Camatzotz is also the caves god, it is a huge bat and people avoided places where they believed that he lived.
Physical appearance : It has a sharp nose and big theeth and claws. A lot of people imagine it like the huge bat, subject of research by some cryptozoologists.

What kind of view do you must own for approaching a myth?
Legends and tradition are linker that we often think.
Those legends aren't full of happiness but they were an exterior sign of way of thinking and they shaped behaviours. So those stories have a certain clout in a country's culture. People recognize themself in their culture because legends can be a way of understanding, explaining a question, a mystery without obvious answers.

The belief

We are talking about believes and their influence on this blog. But why can we say that believes have influences on us?

Usually, the belief is defined like this: “considering that something is true, are there proof or not of it existence” and is of course an universal phenomenon: everybody trusts in something. But if the belief is so important and has so much clout in our life, it is because action begins with it. Indeed, we have to believe that something is possible, something can be realized to act. And, linked with the result of the action, success or not, the belief will be validated or invalidated, or readjusted by the experience. Well, our actions can’t be dissociated from our believes but also from our personality as it reflects our “interior world”. Actually, all of us have got our own representation of the world which is a construction of many believes and which, like writt²ing upper, determine our behaviour, our choices in the real world, well in a nutshell, our way of apprehending life. We are all wearing glasses.

Can we get rid of these glasses? Certainly not. It is impossible as it will mean being a man who does anything! What about the free act? Some people say that it is possible to do something, to act without any motivation. A good illustration will be the one of Lafcadio, the hero of “Les caves du Vatican” by André Gide. This is the story: Lafcadio is in a train to Rome and he shares his compartment with an old unknown man. At night, he suddenly thinks about killing him and begins to count. If he sees a fire in the night before the end of his counting, he will do it. A fire appears, he kills the old man by throwing him out of the train. We may think that he hasn’t got any motivations to do this but is it really the case? Actually not as Lafcadio is a partisan of the “free act”, in others words, he believes in its existence so that the murder becomes a means to prove it. The belief is omnipresent in our life; we can change our believes but never be liberated from it.

So we all are and stay binoculars and this is the reason why discovering believes from all over the world is exciting. Indeed, it is an opportunity to see life through others glasses in order to understand others but also we better!

Mokele-Mbembe

Hello!!! How are you? this is my first article. I hope that you will like it !!

The Mokele-mbembe meaning "one who stops the rivers flow" is the name given to a large water dwelling cryptid found in the legend and folklore of the Congo river's basin.
It is sometimes described as being a living creature and sometimes as being a spirit. Several expeditions have been mounted in the hope of finding evidence of the Mokele.
Some legends describe it as an elephant body with a long neck and tail and a small hedd living in lakes andsources of deep water in the region of the swamps of Likouala ( Republic of Congo).

There are differents explications:
- it could have survived at the extinction of dinosaurs 65 million years ago. His existence is possible because the region has not been totally investigated.
-it is an element of the pygmy mythology , the legend has crosses all the generations
-for others ,it is the vision of a group of male crocodiles following a female in a lake during the season of the courship.
-or.... the last dragon

The whole world is affected since very long time. Not only Cogonlais who are afraid of or fascinated by this enigmatic creature but also many people have tried to discover the truth about his existence (Japanese,americans,French...)

Somes dates to have an idea:
-In 1776, a French named Bonaventure proclaimed that he had seen enormous foolprints in the region.
-1919-1920, The Smithsonian Institute in Washington; a team has heard mysterious roars, which had no resemblance with any known animals. The expedition was to end of the tragedy.
But nobody has really proofs only scales , imprints and numerous testimonies.

And you? What is your position?
A mythe , a legend, a fancy which touches all the populations!! it is very particular no?
I hope that this animal exits and that nobody will discover it as he can stay on earth . Men are afraid and kill the legend or ...reality to have a scientific solution.
We always believe that the huge squid was an invention , a marine monster invented at the age of pirates. Nevertheless, this legendary animal was discovered in 1825... And if the mokele became reality as the squid...
